Summer Stay in Bogotá
This summer we spent a month working in Colombia with the established church in Bogotá. Anna taught a short time at El Camino Academy, a local Christian school. She will be teaching there full-time when we finally make the move to Bogotá. We were able to choose an apartment building to live in next year. We also priced appliances and other necessities. While it was all very exciting, nothing topped the work God allowed us to enter into within the local church. Between the May and June Día Zero camps, 859 public school students heard the Gospel three days in a row. These were not your average church camps. Among our campers were drug dealers, gang leaders, and murderers. But, as Christ loved them to the point of death, we loved them to the point of frustration and exhaustion, but they heard the Gospel and experienced love, some for the first time. 358 made Christ their personal Savior. Now, it is our duty to disciple these new believers!
Will you send us to Bogotá?
